Practical information
An easy 20 km day course through Saint-Chély-du-Tarn, the village of Hauterives, the straits of the Tarn, the village of La Croze and the Cirque des Baumes to the Pas de Soucy: 4 to 5 hours of descent await you, from Sainte-Enimie to the Pas de Soucy (part of the river impassable to canoes and kayaks)
- Welcome at the Aqua Loisirs base in the village of Les Vignes
- Transfer by shuttle to the starting point of the descent
- Distribution of equipment and briefing on the descent and paddle handling
- Start of the descent from Sainte-Enimie
- 4 to 5 hour trip to the Pas de Soucy (part of the river not accessible by canoe or kayak)
- Transfer by shuttle bus to the base in the village of Les Vignes where you can enjoy the base's private beach
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
Children under 16 are advised to wear a helmet (included in the booking) and must be accompanied by an adult.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
When booking, please book a kayak if you wish to be alone in the boat, or a canoe if you wish to share it with a relative.
For example, if you are a group of 5 people, you can book either 5 kayaks, either 2 canoes and 1 kayak, or 1 canoe and 3 kayaks.
This activity is weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.
