TITCH is a skateboard school based in Geneva where you can learn to skate whatever your age and level at different locations in France and Switzerland!
The TITCH skate school was founded by Jean Postec, a skater with extensive experience, especially in Canada and the United States. The school aims to teach skateboarding and its values in its various skate clubs, providing a serious, yet fun teaching so that children learn while having fun.
The courses are organized throughout the year to allow children to relax after school, and also to participate in courses in different locations in France (Annemasse, Ville-la-Grand, Annecy, Aix-en-Provence) in order to provide them with a varied and adapted offer according to their availabilities.
The instructors
Julien Troussier - better known as Spoon - started skateboarding at the age of 10, then snowboarding at 11. Encouraged by his parents, he became a pro in snowboarding. Then a ligament surgery stopped his snowboarding career but he continued skateboarding. Particularly attracted by the street discipline, he did 3 years of training at Formasport (Lyon) allowing him to acquire general knowledge about sports. In 2014-2015, he supervised children at the skate park in Saint-Julien en Genevois. After more than 25 years of practice, he obtained the title of Regional Champion of Rhône-Alpes in street skateboarding in 2015.
Matthias Postec has always been passionate about sports, especially sliding sports. Living in Normandy until the age of 15, he spent his time trying new disciplines such as skateboarding, BMX, and surfing. At the age of 16, he moved to Haute-Savoie where he became passionate about snowboarding. At the age of 22 - after spending 4 years in Chambery at the College of Sport and having passed his master's degree in sports and leisure management - he spent 1 year in New Zealand to practice surfing. In 2015, he decided to run his own business as a coach to support individuals and professionals, and then founded the TITCH skate school with his brother Jean, taking on the roles of treasurer, secretary, and teacher for beginners.
