Growing up in Meudon, a chic Parisian suburb, his father was a guide, so he spent his vacations in the mountains in summer and winter, weekends in Fontainebleau and sometimes at Le Saussois.
After a chaotic school career, with a BEP in car mechanics and a quick spell at geography college, he went down south to climb and pass the BE climbing exam; climbing having naturally taken over, to the despair of his parents...!
As climbing took a very "competitive" turn, he migrated to the Alps, cleaning houses at Pierre et Vacances so he could ski every day.
Très bonne organisation
