Get to know Flying In The Sky - Il Volo del Falco Pellegrino

Harnessing the true power of avian aerodynamics, strap in and take flight on the worlds longest and fastest zipline!

Researched, run and operated by Flying In The Sky, this next level zipline was inaugurated in September 2014 as the world's longest and fastest.

Located in the hillside that overlooks the small medieval village of Rocca Massima -just an hour from central Rome, this horizontal zip line experience starts from 730 meters above sea level where the panorama sweeps from the coasts of Lazio at the Alban hills to the mountains of Abruzzo.

A 2km speed line that can exceed max velocity of 110km, this is unlike anything you've experienced before. Harnessing space-age innovation, this speeding bullet is the closest mankind will ever get to flight - harnessing the aerodynamics of birds of prey to create a course made for the brave.

Inspired by the area's apex aerial predators, the route passes through the slopes of Monte S. Angelo Cradle of Falco Pellegrino - home to the peregrine falcon which can dive up to 200 miles (323 km an hour to capture its prey).

An experience you'll never forget conveniently located in a rustic village only an hour from Rome, strap up for the ultimate rollercoaster ride - and experience life as the crow flies on this horizontal zip line adventure, courtesy of Flying In The Sky!

Very professional, pick us up from the train station on time and the charge of 80 euros was well worth it

Great people, great service and the afterwards activities are as much fun. Coffee sitting around talking to other flyers, couple of very playful dogs to pat and then the drive back up the hill in typical Italian style…

They barely spoke any English at all - we had to ask other guests/customers to translate since some of them didn't speak or understand any English. As someone who doesn't speak Italian, it was hard to figure out where to go when we arrived, since the staff didn't provide us with enough information.
