With this in mind Cape Xtreme was started in 2005 with an aim to be Cape Town and South Africa’s number 1 adventure operator. Over the past few years they have been fortunate to have helped thousands of local and international guests have unforgettable experiences throughout South Africa.
The owner and founder of Cape Xtreme, Gavin O’Donoghue was also an integral member of the team, which set the world record for most adventure activities completed in 1 day in December, 2010, where 18 activities were completed in and around Cape Town between sunrise and sunset.

The guide was friendly and informative.
The staff is really kind and the organisation / security is very good. They respect the animal, you can’t touch them, they Will come to you. We were 7 on the boat and no other boat on the spot : perfect for us and for the tranquility Of the seals. At the end you ´ll receive hotchocolate and cookies : delicious !

Very nice
Marvelous. We were given what was basically an interactive natural history lecture on the ecology, environment and behaviour of the great white as well as a discussion of the rights/wrongs of cage diving (I happen to believe firmly that it is a shark-friendly activity which does nothing to harm the animals and certainly doesn't habituate them into seeking humans either as prey or for a source of food. It provides education and a means of further protecting these incredible creatures from ignorant persecution)

Staff was friendly and polite. Most made a professional impression and cared a lot about safety. Nevertheless, some were quite "laid back" and we would've wished a little bit more instructions about what to do and how to stay safe ;)
