Wakesurfing Session on Lake Lucerne

You've definitely heard of wakeboarding, but have you heard of wakesurfing?

You surf the rear wave that forms behind the boat without a tow rope. The boats are outfitted with a sophisticated surfing mechanism that generates a big, never-ending wave.

Wakesurfers often begin with a wake rope and, after releasing the start line, surf in the wave behind the boat. The average speed is around 18 km/h.

Longer runs are feasible because of the continuous wave, which is not achievable when surfing in the water.

Wakesurfing eliminates the need to wait for the next set or prioritize the wave - you get the entire wave to yourself!
