Explore Abisko National Park near Kiruna while hiking in the heart of Lapland's alpine wilderness. You will discover the Lapporten mountain and the majestic Torneträsk lake. The ever-changing shades of colors and drastic landscape will help clear your mind and live in the moment!

Have you always wondered how it feels like to be surrounded by Nordic nature, or are you already an experienced hiker yourself? Either way, you won't be disappointed with a hike in the Abisko National Park!

The 6-hour adventure begins with a bus ride from Kiruna. You will travel along one of Sweden's most beautiful roads. Along the way, you'll be treated to fantastic views over Lapporten mountain as well as the scenic Torneträsk lake.

Once in Abisko, the hiking adventure begins and you'll head down Abiskojokka canyon. From there, you will continue down towards Björkliden to see one of the biggest waterfalls called Rakkasjohka, which is also referred to as the silver falls. This will be followed by a delicious lunch and well-deserved break before being shuttled back to Kiruna.

Course of events

- Meetup at 9 a.m. at the guide's office. Please arrive 15 minutes prior.
- Shuttle to Abisko
- The hike begins!
- Stop for lunch & coffee/tea
- The hike continues!
- Shuttle back to Kiruna
- Back at around 3 p.m.

Activity requirements

If you are bringing your child, they must be able to walk longer distances. Otherwise, parents must be able to carry them on the more difficult parts of the path.

Special terms

- Transfer from your hotel to the office is not included in the price.
Please contact the instructor once the activity is booked to order pickup.
Costs: 75 SEK/Adult and 37 SEK/Child


From Kiruna: the pickup time will be around 9 a.m.
From ICE HOTEL: the pickup is 30 minutes prior to the activity start time.
