When the snow melts and the sun starts glowing, fun with Husky Tours Lapland does not end. At their location, you can enjoy the thrill of dog-sledding (mushing) even during the summer months!
The summer and autumn activities dogsledding trips allow you to be part of the fun from start to finish! After meeting with the huskies and your experienced instructor, you'll learn how to harness the dogs and how to drive a cart on wheels. Then the adventure begins!
Together with a friend or family member, one of you will sit while the other drives, you'll head into the beautiful Lapland forests and tour the area. Eventually, you'll head for the water so that the dogs have a break and cool off. Halfway there, you can change drivers. This is the perfect moment for taking pictures and enjoy the thrill of being in charge of your very own team of Alaskan huskies!
After the 45 minute drive, you'll head back to the kennel where you'll unharness the dogs, feed and water them, as well as tour the kennel. They always have puppies in the summer and of course, you are more than welcome to take pictures with them! To finish this unique and fun-filled experience, you'll relax by an open fire and enjoy traditional Swedish Fika, warm drinks and pastries!

Practical information
Drive a cart with a friend in the area around the kennel. Learn about harnessing dogs and how Husky Lapland trains their dogs in the summer and autumn.
You'll get to help harness, feed, and drive your own team of dogs with a robust cart in the forest and area around our kennel.
You'll also go through a big puddle of water to cool the dogs down! Additionally, you'll enjoy a coffee and tea with cake!

Minors must have authorization from their parents.
The total driving time is weather dependent. Although usually 45 min. in total, it could be less if it is too warm for the dogs (above 16°C)
Pick-up is possible for an additional 500 kr per person (one way). Please get in touch with the guide in order to make the request.
