Embark upon an exciting snowmobile trip in Abisko National Park! Glide by the majestic moose that inhabit the area, and treat yourself to hot drinks with a beautiful view.

Your guide can pick you up at your accommodation nearby, or you can meet them directly at the Abisko Mountain Lodge to begin this activity. Once at the base, you will be equipped with thermal overalls, balaclavas, and helmets to keep you safe and cozy during the journey through the snow.

Then, your guide will give you a safety briefing and explain how to use the snowmobile. Make sure you have your driver's license with you before coming. Once everyone is ready, it will be time to make your way into Abisko National Park on your new snowmobiles. Follow the guide's lead as you navigate through the stunning frozen landscape. If you're lucky, it is not uncommon to see the resident moose of the park, the so-called "Kings of the Forest" in Arctic Sweden.

Before heading back to the base, you will stop for a break and your guide will make a nice fire for you to huddle around and warm up. Hot drinks will be served while you take in the beautiful views over the permafrost, lakes, and forests that surround you.

Snowmobiling is definitely one of the most fun and easy ways to visit Abisko National Park - don't miss out!

Please note that if you wish to book the entire snowmobile for yourself, select the "drive your own" option. The shared option is for 2 adults if you wish to book this snowmobile for 2 people.

In addition, if you have a child, select the "x1 adult and x1 child" option. For this activity, each child must be booked with an adult who can drive.

A driver's license is compulsory to drive a snowmobile.

Meet your guide at the small red-and-white building located on the big parking at Abisko Mountain Lodge, or ask to be picked up and dropped off at one of the following locations (to be stated upon booking):

Björkliden - Hotell Fjället 45 minutes before the start of the activity

Björkliden - Gammelgården - 45 minutes before the start of the activity

STF Abisko Turiststation - 30 minutes before the start of the activity
