Come and climb Pico Veleta, the fourth highest peak in Spain, on this snowshoeing tour in Sierra Nevada (Granada)!
Sierra Nevada, in Granada, is the second highest mountain massif in Europe after the Alps. It is a mecca for mountain sports enthusiasts, with the Pico Veleta (3,394m) and Mulhacén (3,478m), two of the highest peaks in Spain, 120 ski slopes and many hiking trails with beautiful scenery for all levels.
If the cold doesn't stop you from going to your date with the mountains, but you want to do something different from skiing, a snowshoeing route can be a great alternative. The instructors of Attraversiamo Tour propose you a simple excursion with snowshoes to the Pico Veleta of 2-3 hours of duration. It is a route of 6 kilometres with a little unevenness (280 metres), perfect for beginners in this sport and whose landscapes do not leave indifferent!
