The most popular Via Ferrata in Sant Feliu de Guixols, Costa Brava. Its perfect location makes it an interesting and challenging experience for everyone!

Cala de Molí is a renowned Catalan spot to practice via ferrata. Situated in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, in the center of the Costa Brava, it’s a Ferrata like no other. It is the only one that passes alongside the sea, turning it into a sea itinerary. In June 2013, it was opened to the public, quickly gaining popularity due to its unique journey which can be enjoyed all year round.

The Cala del Moli via ferrata takes place just south of Sant Feliu de Guixols in the protected area of Pla d'Espais d'Natural Interest of Catalonia, a protected and beautiful location close to town. Reaching the Via Ferrata takes a 20-minute walk along a footpath to the start of the route. The route follows the cliffs around the inlets of Cala Moli. Some of the highlights of this Via Ferrata are the 4 bridges used to cross the deep chasms that characterize this part of the rocky coast.

The progress of this amazing via ferrata along the Cala del Moli will challenge and excite you in different ways. The first bridge is a narrow plank that sets the scene for a double-wire cable and the short single-cable bridges that follow. The last bridge crosses a wide gap with 3 cables for the hands and a couple for you to step on. The most physical section is almost round with a short section on a slightly overhanging wall - short, but sharp.

Sign up for this incredible experience as you climb, cross bridges, and have so much fun with your loved ones as you follow your expert guide along this via ferrata at Cala del Moli. Book your place today!

The activity was a fun challenge. It proved more difficult than we had expected. We were able to do the easier, first part of the Via Ferrata, and then exit the course because my wife's arms were becoming to tired. Expect a challenge if you are not used to using your upper body!

It was more physically and technically challenging than I expected but that was a good thing. The views are amazing and the course was very interesting. The guides really made it a perfect day.
