Take the opportunity to get to know this wonderful via ferrata with a 60-meter zip line and a 70-meter wooden walkway! An experience you will not regret.
The Caballeros Dam is an old construction, completed in 1924 and reaching a height of 83 meters. However, this dam was never able to complete its main function, as the waters were easily submerged and flowed to the surface of the Cueva del Gato. However, this was not a total loss, as, in an ideal display of recycling, the Presa de los Caballos is now home to a wonderful via ferrata, available to young and old alike.
In this via ferrata experience through the Presa de los Caballeros, you will have the opportunity to do three different circuits:
1. With a distance of 260 meters, beginner difficulty and available for people 10 years and older, you will go through the gallery, where you will see the old detour valve of the Caballos Dam, then you will do the via ferrata route and you will have the option -but not the obligation- to go through the wonderful 70-meter long Tibetan bridge.
2. With a distance of 220 meters, in this second via ferrata available for people 14 years and older, you will also pass through the gallery, you will do the via ferrata and you will pass through the Tibetan bridge.
3. With a distance of 190 meters, during this experience also available for people 14 years and older, you will go directly to the via ferrata, cross the Tibetan bridge, and finish the experience by sliding down a 60-meter long zip line 60!
All via ferrata experiences at the Presa de los Caballeros will last approximately 1 hour and have a difference in height of 70 meters and above all, be a lot of fun!
