In the Upper Estarón canyon, you will find several slides and natural pools excavated in the slate rock over the years. An expert canyoning instructor will guide you though the canyon enrsuring your safety during the whole excursion.

The approach is easy and short, the river has abundant water flow. The level of the canyon slighly increases in spring and decreses in the summer, when the water level drops.

The river has numerous, slides natural pools and rappels, being the highest one 45 meters. Once the activity is finished, the instructor will collect all the material and you will have the chance to go back to the activities center where you can change, take a shower, and enjoy the terrace while you see the photos of your activity.

Course of events

The total duration of this activity is 2.5 hours.

  • Equipment preparation including wetsuit, windbreaker jacket, neoprene socks, helmet with GoPro mount, harnesses, carabiners, and anchors adjusted to the canyon’s conditions
  • Safety briefing and walk to the canyon entrance with additional explanations provided
  • Canyoning session in the upper Estaron Canyon featuring an hour of natural slides and easy yet thrilling exploration
  • Completion of the descent and views of the lower Estaron Canyon famed for its challenging 45-meter rappels
  • End of the activity

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity. You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
