The Costa Brava has such fantastic geography that it attracts climbers from all over the world to challenge the mountain. A secular war against gravity is waged here. Discover and enjoy two of the best rock climbing areas on the Costa Brava: Rocamaura in L'Estartit and Cala Montgo in L'Escala.
You will get technical training in the basic notions for progressing on artificial rock on equipped and semi-equipped routes. The ascent of climbing routes with one or more stops at a belay station is called multi-pitch climbing. Each section of actual climbing at belay stations between stops is called a pitch. The leader ascends the pitch, placing equipment and stopping at the belay to anchor.
You will be provided with a multi-pitch route for people who want breathtaking vertical thrills at 100 metres above sea level. For this, we have chosen to offer you the most incredible place on the Costa Brava: Rocamaura in L'Estartit.

Practical information
The wall of l'Estartit (Rocamaura) starts at the foot of the mountain and, once on top, you will be able to contemplate the fantastic views of l'Estartit and other villages of la Costa Brava.
You need previous experience in climbing.
Personal technical equipment to be carried by the client:
Climbing shoes, harness, helmet, magnesium, ferrata type leather gloves, HMS bucket+carabiner, 1 abseil rope (140cm of 6mm rope).
Common technical equipment to be carried by each team:
2 double 60m ropes, 10-12 quickdraws, 1 daisy chain or multichain, 1 fifi, 1-2 nails, 3 safety carabiners, 2 stirrups, friends and wedges.
