Would you like to fly over the Pyrenees with a bird's eye view? Come and fly in a tandem paraglider over the Benasque Valley, in the Aragonese Pyrenees!
Paragliding over the Pyrenees is a very original way of sightseeing. From the heights you will be able to enjoy breathtaking landscapes: the different valleys, paths, rivers... There won't be a detail you can't see!
The Benasque Valley is one of the valleys that make up the Aragonese Pyrenees and is home to the highest peak in the Pyrenees and the second highest peak on the Peninsula: Aneto (3,404 metres). In the Benasque Valley itself, in contrast to the great peaks of 3,000 metres, you can see the last ice tongues of the Aragonese Pyrenees, catalogued as a Natural Monument of the Pyrenean Glaciers. And not only is it one of the valleys best known for its nature, but it is also home to some of the most charming villages in the Pyrenees, such as Benasque and Cerler, a village famous for its ski resort. As we know that you may not have enough time to visit everything, why not paraglide over the Benasque Valley and enjoy the most impressive views of the Pyrenees from above?
Paragliding is a non-motorised aerial sport (like hang-gliding or kite-surfing) that uses air currents to move around on a wing. During the tandem paragliding flight you will be accompanied by a certified SpeedRiding pilot with a lot of experience behind him, who will be in charge of handling the wing, so no previous experience is necessary, just no vertigo and enjoy the views, the pilot will take care of the rest. Paragliding can be done from the age of 8 years old, as long as they weigh at least 45 kg and is not recommended for pregnant women or people with back problems.
The meeting point with SpeedRiding will vary depending on the season: in Benasque during the winter months and in Castejón de Sos during the summer. The pilot will take you by van from the meeting point and once there you will walk five minutes with the skydiving equipment to the take-off area. Equipped and together with your pilot you will run a little to take off... and fly! The flight over the Benasque valley lasts about 8 to 10 minutes. Then you will land at the take-off area.
Are you ready to fly in tandem paragliding over the Benasque valley and enjoy breathtaking landscapes?
