Come canyoning in the Gorgo de la Escalera in Anna: one of the best water canyons in the Valencian Community!
If you are in Alicante, but you are more of a mountain person than a beach person, you can't miss discovering the Gorgo de la Escalera in the municipality of Anna. A place known by lovers of rural tourism, but whose ravine is still a secret for many.
The Gorgo de la Escalera ravine is one of the most fun ravines in Alicante, as it has water all year round thanks to a tributary of the river Sellent, so you're guaranteed to get splashed! So as well as going into the ravine, hiking and enjoying the vegetation of this rural area of Alicante, you can jump from various heights and take a dip in one of its pools. Not a fan of jumping? No problem, the excursion can be done without jumping. That's why it's the perfect canyon for all ages, as the difficulty is low and the intensity can be adapted according to the person. You will also finish with a 25-metre abseil next to a waterfall.
Along the way you will be accompanied by Alicante Aventura instructors, who will guide you so that you get to know this canyon to perfection. Of course, you will be provided with all the necessary equipment to make a descent in good conditions and completely safe. It is a circular canyon, so once the route is finished you will return to the starting point.
