1.5 hour Sailing Excursion from Knysna

Experience the Knysna Estuary by boat on our Outeniqua! With a bar on board, take in the beautiful views of the bay from the sea with the wind in your hair, and a drink in hand.

This charter will take you to open waters beyond the bay, before heading back to the calmer waters inside the Knysna Estuary. The landscapes of this bay deserve all the attention they get, and with some luck, you may also be joined by the underwater locals of this coastline in the form of dolphins, seabirds, and maybe even whales!

After an exhilarating sailing experience, we will head back to calmer waters, before returning to the port. Please note that all of our trips are ocean-going trips, they are weather and sea-conditions-dependent.

The skipper in charge of the vessel will make a judgment call on these conditions and this can only be determined at the time of departure. Conditions are influenced by tide, wind direction, wind speed, and the swell at sea, therefore going out through the Knysna Heads, and out to sea, is never guaranteed.
