It is here that the Palmiet River continues its journey to the South Atlantic Ocean where it empties, offering numerous class 3 to 4 rapids depending on its flow, perfect conditions for white water sports in South Africa!

Open to anyone over 12 years old who can swim, rafting on the Palmiet River is carried out aboard 2-seater rafts, also known as ‘crocodiles’, or 4-seaters, depending on the water level. You can enjoy the experience with your family or friends, in complete safety under the supervision of a professional instructor on board a raft. He will guide you through the river's 5 main rapids: ‘Handstands up’, ‘Bubble and Squeak’, ‘Itchy and Scratchy’, ‘Waterfall’ and ‘Judgement Day’.

You will spend around 4 hours on the water on this rafting adventure on the Palmiet River, surrounded by the splendid setting of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve.
