900 Metre zipline cable tour in Northern Drakensberg

But be warned this cable is one of the longest in the country, it spans up to 240 meters between the platforms and reaches breath-taking speeds of up to 60km per hour. Much too fast for bird watching!

The activity
You’ll put on your harness at the reception and then take the 10-minute walk to the first platform. Platform 1 is built into the side of a hill, so there is no scary climb to get there. Most of the slides are visible from the Adventure Centre, which gives members of the party not on the tour, a chance to still be part of the action.

It’s great to immortalize such magical moments, which is why you’re advised to bring along a camera, just make sure it has a strap – wouldn’t want to lose it on the way.
