The Maddalena Archipelago lies to the north-east of Sardinia less than 1-hour away from Olbia, between Sardinia and Corsica. A true Mediterranean paradise, La Maddalena is made up of 7 main islands (including La Maddalena, Caprera, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, Santa Maria and Santo Stefano) and around sixty islets. Known for its crystal-clear waters, unspoilt landscapes and dream beaches, La Maddalena boasts exceptional diving spots with wrecks, caves, drop-offs and a wealth of marine life (groupers, barracudas, nudibranchs, gorgonians, etc.).

Available from the age of 8 to anyone who can swim, this first dive in Sardinia is not to be missed if you want to discover the La Maddalena Archipelago in a different way! Thanks to this activity, specially organised for beginners by professional instructors, you can experience your first breath underwater in complete safety. The instructors at the La Maddalena diving centre will give you all the information and safety rules you need to know before your first dive. They will also provide you with all the equipment you need and take you by boat to the dive site (maximum depth 12m). If you wish, you can also dive directly from the beach to a maximum depth of 2 metres.

The boat trip will take you on an initial journey through the idyllic setting of the La Maddalena Archipelago. Once you arrive at the diving spot, you can discover a whole new world with your dedicated instructor: the underwater world of the Mediterranean. Magical and silent, this world hidden beneath the surface of the water will leave you breathless! On your return to the boat, you'll enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits as you share your experience with the instructor and the other divers before the drive back to the dive centre in Porto Pollo.
