With family or friends, have a refreshing and fun time in the Rivière des Roches Canyon in Saint-Benoît!
It is a pleasant aquatic hike that awaits you in the Rivière des Roches Canyon, a watercourse punctuated by pools in which you can jump from 1 metre to 10 metres high (all jumps can be by-passed by abseiling). This is one of Reunion Island's most aquatic canyoning courses, with 3/4 of the time spent in the water swimming and jumping! The little extra? A 40-metre-long zip line at the end with a view over the Bassin La Paix, optional if you find it too impressive!
Accessible from the age of 10, the only prerequisite for taking part in this water hike in the Rivière des Roches Canyon is knowing how to swim. Throughout the experience, you will be accompanied by a state-qualified instructor who will guide you and ensure your safety. He will provide you with all the equipment you need for canyoning: a neoprene wetsuit to keep your body warm in the water, a helmet, a harness for abseiling, etc. All in all, you will spend almost 4 hours canyoning down the Rivière des Roches, all in good spirits for an unforgettable experience!

Family descent of the Rivière des Roches canyon.
- Approach walk: 20 minutes
- Descent of the canyon: 4 hours
- Return walk: 5 minutes

- 20-minute approach walk to the starting point for the descent of the Rivière des Roches Canyon
- Briefing on the descent of the canyon and safety instructions
- Departure for a 4-hour canyoning trip down the Rivière des Roches Canyon, with jumps up to 10 metres high (which can be abseiled around) and a final 40-metre zip line
- 5-minute walk back to the car park
- De-equipping and end of the activity
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.
