Experience the thrill of climbing the ridges of the Piton de Sucre during a full day excursion in the Cirque de Cilaos.

Go for a crazy day on the island of Réunion, in the heart of Cilaos, in the cliffs of Piton de Sucre for a full day of adventure and climbing that will leave lasting memories!

The day is divided between hiking in the wilderness and climbing on an original route, freshly equipped, which will take you on the ridge separating the canyons of Fleur Jaune and Bras Rouge, two legendary itineraries of the Réunion Island. The difficulty is intermediate (4A / 4B) and really enjoyable whatever your level. The climate of the Cirque de Cilaos, similar to that of our European massifs, will also offer you perfect conditions for this day of climbing.

You walk for about 1,5 hours in the forest to reach the climbing routes. The atmosphere of the day constantly jumps from mountains to rivers, waterfalls and bird watching, off the beaten track. A real breath of fresh air in Réunion Island!

To go back to the cars, you abseil down to get back on the hiking trail for an hour to reach the Bassin Roche and enjoy a refreshing and relaxing swim after your long climbing day!

Practical information

You will leave for a day and around 8 hours of activity with an hour for transportation to get to the starting point. You will climb the ridge between the canyons of Fleur Jaune and Bras Rouge.

At the top, you will take a break while admiring the incredible views before abseiling down and walk back to the Bassin Roche for a swim before returning to the car.

Objectives

The objectives are set according to your level. You will see all aspects of multi pitch climbing:
- Analyse basaltic routes,
- Rope techniques,
- Possibly climbing in the lead, etc.
