An adventure activity that involves exploring rivers or streams through a combination of techniques, such as walking, water walking, climbing, rope descent maneuvers such as rappelling and slides, toboggans and jumping into the water (always optional)... Always accompanied by experienced and certified guides, you will be able to visit places that are accessible to few, recording every moment far away from all the noise of city life and very close to the fauna and flora of the river. The canyoning lasts around 6 hours and everyone older than 10 years and a bit fit is welcomed to joint this canyoning excursion down the Rio Teixeira.

Experience the thrill of a 5-hour canyoning excursion down the Rio Teixeira in Serra da Freita, close to Oporto.
- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your instructors
- 20-minute drive to Cercal, S. João da Serra, where you can park your car
- Safety and activity briefing

- 10-minute walk to reach the canyoning starting point
- Technical briefing on canyoning techniques and safety guidelines
- Begin the 4-hour 1.300 meter descent
- Return of equipment, transfer to starting point and end of activity
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
The maximum weight for this activity is 120kg.
The maximum age for this activity is 75.
Good physical condition is essential for canyoning. The minimum requirement is to be able to walk easily for 2 hours on difficult terrain, and to have stable feet.
If you suffer from vertigo (not fear of heights), canyoning is not necessarily recommended.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant or disabled people.
