The tour will start with a van drive from Peniche to Peniche's harbour. There you will embark in a boat tour of 40 minutes until the first snorkeling spot, where you will have 1 hour free to explore. Then, the snorkeling boat tour in the Nature Reserve of Berlengas will continue to the next snorkeling spot, where you will have another 1 hour to do snorkel. You will learn to observe the underwater world from the surfaceand you will be taught about the local history of Berlengas Island thanks to your experienced guide who will take you out to the most adequate places.Furthermore, during the tour the instructor will provide you water, bananas and the delicious portuguese dessert Pastel de Nata.

Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting with the instructor in the dive center.

- Preparation with all the snorkeling equipment at the changing rooms.

- Transfer from the dive center to the harbor by van.

- Boat trip to 2 different snorkeling sites in shallow and sheltered bays in the Berlengas Natural Reserve, ideal for observing the marine life from the surface. Every boat trips last an average of 30 to 40 minutes and each snorkeling sessions last 1h. You can take a break to relax on the boat where water, bananas and one "pastel de nata" will be provided.
