Course of events
Please allow approximately 3h30 for this activity, including 2h30 to 3 hours of guided e-bike tour.
- Arrive at the meeting point (safe storage for belongings and restrooms available at the shop).
- Meet your guide and receive your e-bike and safety gear.
- Receive a safety and activity briefing (including how to use the e-bike).
- Embark on a guided e-bike tour through Peneda-Gerês National Park (2h30 to 3 hours).
- Pass by the medieval Benedictine Ermelo Monastery near the Vez River.
- Ride through the famous village of Soajo, known for its traditional espigueiros.
- Return to the meeting point and drop off your equipment.
- End of the activity.

During this tour, you will bike across Serra Amarela, discovering wonderful villages and trails, nestled between majestic mountains and valleys.
The electric mountain bikes turn this tour into a pure leisure experience, going further and faster while maintaining the highest level of comfort and quality. You will notably be able to bike trough the historic village of Soajo, famous for its traditional granite houses and iconic espigueiros (stone granaries) perched on a hilltop. You will also discover the 12th-century medieval Benedictine Ermelo Monastery. Set in a peaceful valley near the Vez River, this Romanesque site is a perfect place to admire a historical place settled in nature.
It is a fun adventure filled with beautiful landscapes along a 25-kilometer route (which can be adjusted to the clients' level) with a 900-meter descent. The trip can be tailored to accommodate riders ranging from beginners to intermediate levels.
