Last week we did the Caving experience with 10 friends in the Arrabida nature reserve. The trek started with a 10 min hike to the entrance of the cave. Once there, we were guided through the caves of Portugal by two instructors. The narrow spaces and climbing in a dark cave provide healthy tension and a lot of adventure. Some narrow passages require a bit of fitting and measuring, so you sometimes have to step outside your comfort zone and keep going. Eventually you end up at 22 meters underground, at the lowest point. After 3.5 hours (depending on the speed of your group) we were outside again, with a large dose of adrenaline, excitement and also satisfaction that everyone made it. The instructors are friendly and help everyone to maneuver through the narrow corridor. In addition, they also offer a transfer from Lisbon to Arribida for €25 per person. Marco, thanks for all the good care and the exciting experience in the caves! We will not soon forget this experience.

The tour guide took us to a hole hidden in the middle of nowhere. After, we abseiled into down to reveal an expensive network of caves which led to the ocean. We were then given the choice of whether to walk out or climb our way out using the ropes. Overall great experience.
