Come learn to dive in open water on the beaches of Arrábida, in Lisbon!
Among all the sports you can do in the sea, scuba diving is one of the most complete, not only because it requires a good physical preparation and previous training, but also because it is a sensory experience in which swimming among different marine species and knowing how to identify them is a spectacle. So that you can live this sensation, Arrábida Experiences offers you a 3-day course in which you will learn all the techniques to dive comfortably and safely.
And we can't think of a more spectacular landscape to dive in than the Arrábida Natural Park, 30 minutes from Lisbon. Its steep cliffs with varied vegetation and crystal clear beaches, home to almost 1000 different marine species, will leave you speechless.
The course is divided into 3 days. On the first day you will review the contents taught in the e-learning before the course and you will do two first practical sessions in confined waters, i.e. a closed site where everything is under control. On day 2, you will start by reinforcing the knowledge acquired the previous day in confined water, but then it will be time to continue the course in open water. Before the end of the day, you will do a small test to check that everything is clear. Finally, on the last day, you will spend a whole morning diving in open water!
At all times, you will be accompanied by a diving instructor who will ensure the maximum safety of the activity and solve all your doubts. His presence will help you to evolve faster, as he will be able to advise you on what you consider more difficult. Both equipment and insurance are included. After the completion of the course you will receive the SSI or PADI Open Water Diver certificate.
