Enjoy your first paragliding experience with a scenic flight over the stunning landscapes of Lagos and the Algarve coastline. From beaches and cliffs to valleys and rolling hills, this is a unique way to take in southern Portugal’s natural beauty — between sea and mountains.

The tandem paraglider is designed to carry two people: you, the passenger, and your certified instructor. No previous experience or physical preparation is required. After a short run to take off, you’ll be securely seated in a harness, right in front of your pilot, and free to enjoy the incredible sensation of flying for up to 15 minutes.

Your instructor will take care of all the technical aspects while guiding you through the skies and pointing out the best views. You can also ask any questions along the way — your pilot is a local and loves sharing insights about the region.

This is the perfect first step for anyone curious to discover paragliding in a safe, relaxed, and truly memorable way.

Practical information

Course of events
  • Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your pilot
  • Safety briefing and overview of the activity
  • Equipment set-up and preparation for take-off
  • Tandem paragliding flight (around 15 minutes)
  • Landing and return to the meeting point
  • Equipment return and end of activity.

Please note that, depending on weather conditions, some waiting time on site may be necessary before take-off — a common part of the experience known as parawaiting. Your pilot will keep you informed and choose the best and safest time to fly.

Although the flight itself lasts around 15 minutes, please allow up to 2 hours for the full experience, especially when flying in a group.

Activity requirements

The minimum weight is 45kg and the maximum 95kg.

Special terms

The meeting point and the meeting time will depend on the weather conditions. The exact meeting point and time will be provided the day before your booking, after 7 pm, by the instructor.

Depending on the weather conditions on the day of the activity, your flight may be rescheduled for safety reasons.

We recommend booking this activity for the first few days of your holiday, so that if the weather is not suitable on your chosen date, we can reschedule your flight for the next available flyable day according to your availability.
