With Immersion Caraïbes, you will have the chance to discover the magnificent diving spots of the south of Martinique, starting from the Bay of Le Marin. Virginie, diving instructor and owner of the center, will take you from Sainte-Anne to the Rocher du Diamant to realize your first dive in the most suitable spots.

You will dive in a small group of 2 to 6 divers maximum and move around the spots that Le Marin offers you by means of a fast, comfortable and perfectly equipped boat for diving. Whether you are a great beginner looking for your first bubbles or a certified and confirmed diver, Immersion Caraïbes and the Martinique's sea beds have everything you need to discover the joys of diving in Le Marin, Martinique, in complete safety.

For children, this diving experience will be completely adapted to their age and morphology: depending on these parameters, the child will breathe through the instructor's regulator or through his own equipment, adapted to his size. What is important is that the child breathes underwater, moves around, makes bubbles, and discovers the abundant life of the Martinique seabed! After the first dive, the child can of course continue to dive and progress underwater through various fun exercises so that he/she continues to discover the ocean, diving and underwater life while having fun. The apprentice diver will even have the right to his first logbook where all his dives, his progress, as well as the corals and fish he will have met, will be recorded until he is 12 years old and can pass a diploma allowing him to dive independently!

The dive sites will be chosen together, depending on the weather conditions and your own condition. Photos and videos are offered for all dives made. Remember to take a USB key or SD card with you to get them back!

Practical information

The first dive is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or experience, even if you don't know how to swim! It is a real dive during which you discover the first sensations of immersion, on a dive site chosen specifically for the initiation and where the depth will remain limited to 6 m. The only risk? That you fall in love with the sport and want to continue!

During the dive, your instructor will take photos and videos, so don't forget your USB stick to keep some memories of this unique moment.

Dives last between 20 and 30 minutes, but allow 2 to 3 hours in total for briefing and equipment.

Course of events

- After a quick briefing about the dive, the equipment and the flora and fauna you will encounter underwater, you will simply put on your equipment, put on your fins and get in the water!
- You will start with the tank once you're in the water and after some breathing exercises on the surface to get used to the regulator. Then you will slowly descend below the surface.
- The dive will take place between 0 and 6 meters deep, in complete safety and accompanied at all times by your instructor.
- At a depth of 6 meters you will see some beautiful coral formations and explore the surrounding area.

Diving is prohibited for pregnant women and people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated underwater.
