The instructors of Azul Diving Center Madeira accompany you at your diving baptism in Funchal in a 3-hour activity consisting of two parts. First of all the certified instructors will give you a small theoretical class on diving so that you know all the diving technique perfectly. Then the knowledge will be consolidated with a first practice in a pool and once you feel safe... ¡ It will be time for immersion in open water! Your instructor will take you to live your diving baptism from the beach in a dive of about 50 minutes to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).

Practical information
- Meeting with instructors at the meeting place.
- Theoretical lesson on diving in the classroom of Azul Diving Center.
- First dive in shallow water in the school pool (maximum depth: 12 mt/40 ft).
- Once you feel safe, ready to dive into the sea! Dive for about 45/50 minutes at a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).
All participants under 18 must provide written parental consent.
Please note you must provide a medical certificate dated within the last 3 months from your GP stating that you are allowed to practice this activity.
All participants must know how to swim autonomously.
It is not recommended to take a flight until 24 hours after the last dive.
