Your 4x4 excursion around Madeira will begin in Funchal, if your accommodation is in the center of the city, your guide will pick you up and bring you to the meeting point. After that, the guides at True Spirt Madeira will take you uphill to Pico do Arieiro at an altitude of 1.818 meters, where you will experience beautiful views of Ponta do So Lourenço, Pal da Serra, Curral das Freiras, and even Porto Santo island.

Then, heading north, you will pass through Ribeiro Frio, which is bordered by Laurissilva Forest (a UNESCO World Heritage site), other unique species, and gorgeous evergreen mountains, immersing us in a serene setting. You'll stop and have the opportunity to walk up to the Levada dos Balcões and immerse yourself in the fauna and flora of this wonderful forest.

Continue on an off-road 4x4 adventure through Cova da Roda, then to one of the island's most iconic villages, Santana, the "Biosphere Reserve," noted for its thatched roofs on quaint houses that have stood the test of time.
