5 Zipline Excursion in Akureyri

A professional guide will lead you on an adventure trail with five ziplines, forest paths, and informative stories. The river canyon Glerárgil is a hidden nature gem running straight through the middle of Akureyri town. On this tour, you will find your way through stunning scenery experienced by a few, not even many locals.

The experience takes 1-2 hours, depending on the group size and activity level, and goes something like this:
- You will be welcomed by the guides who we help you put on the safety gear and then walk 2-3 minutes to the first zipline.
- The first guide zips ahead and receives one guest at a time. The second guide assists and secures guests to zip.
- In a group, we follow a short forest path to the next zipline, and so on for 5 ziplines.
- At the end of the fifth and last zipline we hike approx. 10 minutes back to base.
