Practical information

1.5 hour guided 5.5 mile ATV quad biking tour near Hilo, including a snack break by Umauma Falls where you can enjoy an optional dip in the waterfall pool!

Course of events

-Check in at the Umauma experience visitor centre 45 minutes before activity starts

-Welcome and meet guides

-Safety and activity briefing

-Get equipped with helmet and quad bike

-Begin 5.5 mile/8 km guided ATV tour

-Stop for a snack break by Umauma Falls

-Optional dip in the falls

-Continue tour and return back to visitor centre

Activity requirements

Participants must wear closed toe shoes, pants and shirt.

ATV Drivers must be at least 16 years old and side by side drivers must be at least 18 years old.

Minors can drive if they have their liscence, parental permission and are accompanied by parents or a guardian on the tour.

All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and present it at check-in.

Special terms

Weight limit for front seat: 350 lbs/158 kg

Weight limit for back seat: 250 lbs/113 kg

Participants cannot have history of neck or back injury.
