Freediving in the Cousteau Reserve in Guadeloupe

Discover or improve your freediving skills in Guadeloupe, in the heart of the incredible underwater ecosystem of the Cousteau Reserve in Bouillante!

The instructors of Les Heures Saines Plongée propose you to realize your freediving session in one of the protected marine areas of Guadeloupe, the famous Cousteau Reserve and the Pigeon Islands! Located on the coast of Pointe-Noire in Bouillante, in front of the beach of Malendure, you will live a most memorable experience.

A qualified instructor will accompany you throughout this outing to allow you to discover the sensations of underwater gravity in silence, as well as the fauna and aquatic flora of the Caribbean Sea. If you are not comfortable in the water, your instructor will adapt his method to make sure you have a safe experience!

You will meet your instructor at the diving school, then go to the spot in the Cousteau Reserve by boat from the Malendure rock. The activity will start with a briefing on the basic rules of freediving and the presentation of the equipment. Once in the water, you will be familiarised with freediving techniques, and then you will practice these techniques and discover the sea bed in a silent way.
