eBike Off-road Tour of Santorini from Agios Georgios

Enjoy a scenic mountain bike tour of Santorini with technical downhills, high-incline climbs, and scenic panoramas. Welcoming experienced mountain bikers from ages 12 and up!

Santorini is a breathtakingly beautiful island located in the southern Aegean Sea, forming part of the Cyclades group of islands in Greece. It is renowned for its stunning sunsets, dramatic landscapes, and deep blue seas. This activity starts from Agios Georgios, a small settlement located on the southeastern coast of the island.

The adventure begins by arriving at the starting point in Agios Georgios (pick-up from your accommodation in Santorini is included, please specify your location upon booking). You will meet your mountain bike guides and be equipped with a full-suspension electric AMT mountain bike (Bosch CX System) that can be adjusted to your preferences - you can even select SPD pedals if you would like. Before heading off, you will also be given all of the appropriate safety gear, including an all-mountain EC-approved cycling helmet and gloves. This activity is for expert mountain bike riders only.

The ride then begins from Agios Georgios, following the guides through old villages, wild and narrow trails, slippery volcanic ash, and black stone - all of the different kinds of surfaces that exist on the island of Santorini. The electrically assisted bikes help to traverse the different off-road terrains that you encounter. The exact route and itinerary will be adjusted to your bike skills and desires. There will be a few breaks on the way to take in the panoramas and enjoy refreshments.

At the village of Emporio, you will be treated to a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Emporio is one of the oldest villages on the island, offering a glimpse into traditional Santorinian life. You'll continue cycling to the town of Megalochori, known for its traditional Cycladic architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, and whitewashed buildings adorned with colourful bougainvillaea flowers. Here, you will enjoy a local food and wine tasting at the restaurant Feggera. At the end of the half-day tour, you'll be transferred back to your accommodation in Santorini.
