The adventure begins at the meeting point in Pigadia. You'll be greeted by an experienced tour guide and drive in a car to the starting point of the hike in Lastos. The guide will provide a quick safety briefing and give you walking sticks. This hike is difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers and those with a good fitness level.

Following the guide, you'll begin the ascent from Lastos, hiking up the Kali Limni Mountain. With an altitude of 1,215 m (3,986 ft), the Kali Limni is the highest mountain in the Dodecanese islands of Greece. During your hike up the tallest mountain of this island group, the views from all different heights will leave you speechless. You will find incredible nature with amazing wildlife and a variety of scenery. Along the way, you will likely encounter horses or donkeys, get in touch with the culture of Karpathos, see rural parts of Greece, and challenge your hiking skills.

Once you reach the top peak, you can take a picture with the famous cross. You'll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding Greek islands. On clear days, the views even extend to the islands of Crete and Rhodes. You'll take a well-deserved break here and enjoy some tea or coffee, before beginning the descent back to the car. The guide will then drive you back to the starting point in Pigadia.
