The cruise will depart from Ouranoupoli, a small town located on the peninsula.

To begin, you’ll board the safe and comfortable boat at the port of Ouranoupoli. An experienced crew will welcome you on the ship, which holds up to 100 passengers. This tour is open to participants of all ages, perfect for families and friends alike! There will be snacks and beverages available to purchase on board throughout the cruise. Once everyone has settled onto the boat, the adventure begins!

The captain will set sail on the Aegean Sea, heading south towards Mount Athos. You will pass the famous holy monasteries of Mount Athos, which are not accessible to women. From a distance, you will admire the amazing architecture, while the experienced guide shares stories about the history of the region. You will start from the Holy Monastery of Dochiarion, passing small monastic villages (Sketes), and Dafni, the main port of Mount Athos. Overall, you will visit 6-9 monasteries, including Zografou, Docheiariou, Xenophodos and Agiou Panteleimonos.

The boat is a special glass-bottom vessel, allowing you to see through the hull onto the seabed below. You will sail over Ouranoupoli's reef, witnessing the vibrant sea life below, including marine creatures and a diverse underwater ecosystem with seagrass meadows, rocky reefs, and sandy bottoms. This is a unique opportunity to observe the fascinating underwater world of northern Greece.

After continuing along the picturesque coastline, you’ll arrive at the island of Amouliani. Amouliani is a small island located opposite the Athos peninsula, and is the only inhabited island in the Chalkidiki prefecture. Despite its small size, the island boasts beautiful sandy beaches, clear waters, and a laid-back atmosphere. You will have approximately 1 hour 30 minutes of free time to explore the island. Swim in the clear blue lagoon or enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants. At the end of your adventure at Amouliani, you’ll sail back to the starting point in Ouranoupoli.
