Discover the pleasure of scuba diving during a first dive in the lagoon of Raiatea, an incredible spot for a first dive!
The first dive is the experience not to be missed if you want to discover scuba diving, especially in French Polynesia. And for this, the lagoon of Raiatea and Taha'a is the ideal spot! It is in the Teavapiti pass, and more precisely at the level of the Napoleon drop-off, that you will have the pleasure to make your first dive at a maximum depth of 6 meters. You will dive in the pass with the current coming in, with the possibility of going back to the lagoon of Raiatea depending on the sea conditions.
You will leave from Uturoa marina for a 10 minutes navigation to the pass, close to the motu Ofetaro in the east of Raiatea. The Teavapiti pass is famous for being a diving site rich in underwater fauna and flora, which will make your first dive in Raiatea unforgettable! You will be able to meet among others clown fish and their anemones, butterfly fish and various other coral fish, as well as the impressive napoleon fish. It is also possible to see turtles!
With a qualified and experienced diving instructor by your side to accompany you throughout your first dive, your first experience of underwater immersion will take place in complete confidence and safety in the Teavapiti pass in Raiatea!
