Generally from the end of July to the beginning of November, humpback whales reach the warm waters of French Polynesia, making this a very popular time to go out to sea to observe them, and also to swim with them if the opportunity arises. This experience is a must for any traveller to the Polynesian archipelago during this season, and that is why the Scubapiti team is offering you a whale watching and swimming excursion from Moorea!
Departing from Tipaniers beach in the North-West of the island, you will head out to sea for 3 to 4 hours in search of these magnificent cetaceans. Your guide will give you lots of information about them so that you can get to know them better and also understand them so that you can observe them with the utmost respect. Once you have found a receptive animal, it will be time for the long-awaited moment of snorkelling with the whales in Moorea! If you don't feel comfortable diving into the deep blue, you can stay in the boat to watch the cetacean(s) at your leisure, as well as the other participants getting into the water to approach them in complete safety with the guide.
Don't miss out on one of the most beautiful experiences in the world and don't hesitate to take part in this whale watching and swimming excursion in Moorea, whether or not you want to get in the water!
