Leaving Bora Bora without taking the plunge on an exploration dive is impossible if you are a certified Level 1 / Open Water / PE12 diver. This amazing adventure will take place in the afternoon, alongside a dive master (1 dive master for a maximum of 4 divers) who will guide you for an immersion of 45 to 60 minutes, at a maximum depth of 15 to 40 metres (depending on the dive site). You will have the chance to see a large number of tropical fish, as well as turtles, manta rays, eagle rays, Napoleon fish, lemon sharks, etc., depending on the dive site. Practical information
An afternoon exploration dive in Bora Bora.
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Bora Bora by boat (if pontoon accessible to the boat) or bus
- Navigation to the dive site (15 to 30 minutes)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions, then equipment
- Launch for a 45-60 minute dive (maximum 4 divers per dive master)
- Return onboard the boat, de-equipment (shower on board) and return to your accommodation
A minimum Open Water/Level 1 of scuba diving is required to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.
If you would like to take advantage of the pick-up service, please check that your hotel (on the main island of Bora Bora or the motus) has a pontoon AND contact Bora Ocean Adventures once your booking has been confirmed to arrange the pick-up.
If you would like to take part in the activity as an accompanying person on board the boat, without diving, please contact the centre directly to see if this is possible (priority is given to divers). If so, the cost will be 7,000 xpf, payable directly on site.
