Are you a canyoning enthusiast and a great sportsman? Then take up the challenge of a day's canyoning in the Cady or Taurinya Gorges in the Pyrénées-Orientales!

In the heart of the Canigou massif lie 2 sublime canyoning routes close to Prades: the Taurinya Canyon and the Cady Canyon. Difficult and technical, these are wild descents reserved for those of you who have already tried canyoning. The obstacles are impressive and the pace is fast, with 7 to 8 hours to be spent in the canyons themselves, and even more if you count the approach and return walks!

Depending on the weather conditions, you will head off either for the Taurinya Canyon (recommended in July) or for the Gorges du Cady Canyon (recommended in August), with a state-qualified instructor to supervise you and ensure your safety. The Taurinya Canyon offers an aerial route in a very wild setting, with beautiful abseiling descents under waterfalls ranging from 6 to 45 metres while the Cady Canyon is more aquatic and demanding, with long natural slides of up to 20 metres and jumps (optional) up to 12 metres high. But no matter which of the 2 you will have the pleasure of discovering, you will be in for an intense day full of thrills!

So if you feel up to the challenge, book your day of canyoning in the Canigou massif now and venture into either the Cady or Taurinya canyons!
