Introduction to Packrafting on the Gave de Pau between Pau and Lourdes

An inflatable boat that is light and easy to transport, the packraft is ideal for white-water adventures. That is why 2B Aventure is offering you a 1 or 2-day packraft excursion on the Gave de Pau, the perfect river for discovering this activity in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. In a small group of no more than 6 participants, 2 per packraft, you will have the pleasure of navigating in a superb natural setting, with rapids along the way to thrill you! Depending on your preferences and your level, you can choose to do your packrafting initiation on the Gave de Pau for:

• a day trip of 20 km between Nay and Pau, accessible even without previous whitewater experience (class 2 rapids, approximate navigation time 5 hours);
• 2 days over 45 km between Lourdes and Pau, including a night in a bivouac (or camping for an extra charge), accessible provided you have already been introduced to a whitewater sport such as canoeing (class 2 to 3 rapids, navigation time around 11 hours).
