Just 1 hour's drive from Montpellier, in the Parc national des Cévennes, the via ferrata du Thaurac dominates the commune of Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois, in the north-east of the Hérault, in the Occitanie region.
The via ferrata at Le Thaurac, near Montpellier, is open to the general public thanks to its rating of "easy" to "not very difficult" by professional climbers... especially if you're afraid of heights and don't look down!
Accompanied by your state-certified instructor, you'll begin your via ferrata experience at Le Thaurac with a 20-minute approach walk from the meeting point. Once you've gone through the safety instructions, your Rbson-Grimpe instructor will teach you how to equip yourself, and your adventure can begin!
Alone, with friends or family, let yourself be tempted by the via ferrata du Thaurac, near Montpellier, and discover hitherto unknown sensations, in a breathtaking setting... from a cliff overlooking Pic Saint-Loup and Mont Aigoual.
