Between fun and thrills, rafting down the Guil River can be done on different sections of the river to suit young and old, beginners and sporty people alike. Led by a qualified instructor, your raft, which can accommodate between 4 and 7 participants, will take you safely through the Guil River's class 2 and 3 rapids, for a refreshingly fun time! This adventure in the heart of the Queyras Regional Nature Park will require your team to work well together on your chosen rafting route down the Guil River:
Lower part of the Guil River - below the fortified town of Mont-Dauphin, this 2-hour rafting trip down the Guil River is suitable for children aged 3 and over, giving the whole family the chance to enjoy the thrills of rafting while taking in the superb scenery over the limestone cliffs of Guillestre;
Guil River Sporty Course - open to children aged 12 and over, this more challenging route than the lower part of the Guil River will take you down a stretch of turquoise water, littered with rapids, natural slides and waterfalls for around 3 hours.
Ideal for spending a pleasant half-day surrounded by incredible scenery, rafting down the Guil River near Embrun will delight the whole family!
