Under the Pic du Midi in La Mongie, come and meet the dogs of No Speed Limit and leave for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Pyrenees as soon as the slopes close. Thanks to your experienced instructor who knows the La Mongie area perfectly, the resort will soon hold no secrets for you.

Your excursion will start at the bottom of the Pic du Midi cable car, then cross La Mongie 1800 to go below the Tourmalet pass. This is the perfect opportunity to admire the surrounding snow-capped mountains, especially the Pic du Midi, La Mongie and the Grand Tourmalet ski area. So get your camera ready and enjoy some great views!

You will leave for a 30 minute excursion on one of the routes specially designed by No Speed Limit. Your expedition will follow the rhythm of the Alaskan Huskies and will include 2 breaks in magnificent spots at the foot of the Pic du Midi!

During the excursion, your instructor will share his passion with you! He will tell you everything you need to know about mushing and how it works, as well as about the life of the dogs.

Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting behind the building of the Pic du Midi cable car departure
- Briefing with the musher
- Dog sledding excursion on one of the different routes (about 30 min) with discussions with the musher.
- Return and possibility to stay with the dogs for a while

Activity requirements

A minimum of 2 people is required for this activity.

180kg per sled maximum. If the combined weight of all those wishing to do the activity exceeds 180kg, please book two trips.

Special terms

In case of lack of snow, the sled will be equipped with large wheels (if you do not wish to, please inform the instructor).

The sled can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old. Pregnant women are not accepted for this activity. A minimum of 2 participants is required to validate the activity.

Possibility to ask the instructor for some pictures of your trip.

Be careful, in winter season, the passes of Aspin and Hourquette d'Ancizan are closed.
