Start this 10 km canoe trip from one of the most beautiful villages in France, built on the edge of the cliffs, offering you a breathtaking and sumptuous view of the architecture of this commune. As you make your way down the Dordogne valley, you'll pass five châteaux that are emblematic of the Périgord's exceptional heritage.

There are five castles to discover on your canoe trip through the Périgord, including Castelnaud castle, a masterpiece of medieval architecture, Beynac castle, a unique fortress with a history steeped in history, and Milandes castle, a listed Historic Monument and a must-see site in Périgord and the Dordogne valley.

Course of events

- Departure from the Canoë Vacances base

- Start of the 16 km descent lasting around 3 hours

- Sites on your route: Château de la Malartrie, Manoir de Marqueyssac, Château de Castelnaud, Château de Fayrac, Château de Beynac and Château des Milandes.

- Return transport by minibus to the start of the activity

- Arrival at the base of La Roque-Gageac
