Located in the natural park of the Massif des Bauges in Curienne near Chambéry, the canyon of the Ternèze stream is ideal to learn or improve your canyoning skills! Whether you are with family or friends, the Ternèze canyon is accessible to all. Fun and aquatic, this canyon is perfect for discovering the joys of canyoning! Short and intense, the Ternèze canyon is usually done twice. The first time is to familiarise yourself with the canyon and the second time is to pass the most exciting obstacles.
After a fifteen minute approach walk, and a briefing by your state-certified canyoning instructor on the activity, the equipment and the safety rules, enjoy half a day in a very aquatic and varied canyon in the heart of a green undergrowth! Make your first jumps and slides during the first descent and try out the sensational obstacles such as the syphon or the eight metre high jump during your second passage.

Practical information
- Meet at the place defined by the instructor and yourself.
- Your instructor will set up your equipment.
- 15 minute walk to the canyon.
- Briefing by your instructor on the activity, equipment and safety rules.
- 3 hours of water and hiking, jumps and slides.
- Return walk of 20 minutes.
It is imperative to be able to swim and to be in good physical condition to do this activity.
This activity is weather dependent: if the activity cannot take place because of the weather, you will be offered another date or a refund.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
