Accessible to beginners from the age of 12 (as long as you can swim and immerse yourself), but still considered sporty if you decide to make all the optional jumps it offers, this canyoning course in Céret will meet everyone's expectations! This makes it the perfect canyon for an outdoor experience with friends or family, in good spirits and complete safety alongside a state-qualified instructor.

Lasting 2.5 hours, the descent of the Gourg des Anelles Canyon in Céret offers a great adventure combining refreshment and thrills: between jumps ranging from 3 to 8 metres (all optional), abseiling from 3 to 27 metres, natural slides, swimming in white water and many other challenges, you won't be bored for a single second! Fully equipped (neoprene wetsuit, helmet and harness), you will tackle each obstacle alongside your instructor who will advise you on the best way to tackle them while reassuring you if you are feeling apprehensive.

The Gourg des Anelles Canyon at Céret is set in a breathtaking landscape, between the granite gorges of the Vaillère River, and is sure to make you want to go canyoning again in the Pyrénées-Orientales!

Practical information

Descent of the Gourg des Anelles Canyon at Céret for 2.5 hours (allow around 4 hours of activity in total) including:

  • jumps from 3 to 8 metres (all optional);
  • abseiling from 3 to 27 metres;
  • natural slides;
  • a 12-metre abseil-slide;
  • some rocks and walls to climb;
  • a subway (optional).
Course of events

- Meeting with the instructor at the free Pont du Diable car park in Céret

- Handing over of canyoning equipment (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, etc.)

- Departure by carpool or minibus for the canyon (15-minute drive)

- Approx. 20-minute approach walk

- Briefing on the descent and safety instructions, then equipment (approx. 30 minutes)

- Departure for the Gourg des Anelles Canyon descent lasting 2.5 hours

- Return walk of around 30 minutes

- De-equipping and debriefing (approx. 15 minutes)

- Return to the Pont du Diable car park (15-minute drive) and end of the activity

Activity requirements

All participants must know how to swim at least 25 metres and be able to immerse themselves to take part in this activity.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.

For safety reasons, it is forbidden to go canyoning in water shoes.

Special terms

Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor to confirm the meeting time and point.

If you wish, the instructor can provide you with canyoning shoes and/or neoprene socks if you need them on site.

You will be able to retrieve the photos of your activity on a USB key (not supplied, you must bring your own).

Super après-midi dans le canyon du Gourg des Anelles. Descentes en rappels, sauts, toboggans naturels offrant pleins de sensations. Possibilités de sautée plusieurs fois sur le saut de 4m. Nous avons adorés cette activité et en gardons de supers souvenirs.
