Nestling between a number of Pyrenean peaks over 2,000 metres high, including the Col de la Coste Ardoune, the Col de Bernadole and the Col des Mulets, you can admire the iconic Vignemale in the background.
This snowshoeing excursion to Lac de Gaube takes place in the company of a qualified mountain guide, whom you will meet in the centre of Cauterets. You'll then head off together to the Plateau du Puntas, where you'll find the superb Pont d'Espagne nature reserve, before continuing your ascent to Lac de Gaube, with a climb of up to 299 metres.
