Discover the Polynesian pirogue at Carry-le-Rouet during a guided sunset tour in the creeks of the Côte Bleue!
Called va'a in Tahitian, the Polynesian pirogue is a traditional canoe fitted with an outrigger for faster sailing. It is a very popular craft in French Polynesia, but much less so in mainland France, where the activity is only offered by certain watersports centres. So if you are passing by Marseille and fancy getting on board a va'a, don't hesitate to join the Base Nature & Nautique, which offers a guided Polynesian pirogue tour at sunset in Carry-le-Rouet!
You will have the pleasure of discovering this activity in the magnificent setting of the creeks in the Côte Bleue Marine Park, on turquoise water reminiscent of the islands of Polynesia. You will set off for a 1.5-hour tour in a Polynesian pirogue from Carry-le-Rouet, in the late afternoon to enjoy the sunset. During your tour, the guide will suggest a swimming stop in one of the creeks of the Côte Bleue, while providing masks and snorkels if you wish to do a little snorkelling. You will also enjoy an aperitif on the water, the perfect way to share a convivial moment with the small group aboard the va'a.
A perfect change from sea kayaking and a great way to spend the end of the day with friends and family, this Polynesian pirogue experience at sunset in Carry-le-Rouet will give you unique memories of the creeks on the Côte Bleue!
